Peg Bang

Lighting Assistant

Peg is an inquisitive art geek at heart. During her childhood, her favorite toys included a chemistry set, a b/w video camera, any game console system. In her teens, her first camera was a manual SLR loaned to her for a documentary photography class and she studied figure drawing. Her first stint changing gels for lighting was as part of a dance scholarship program above a stage. As an
adult she has studied everything from trickle down technology in Costa Rica and the wine industry in Australia to lighting and lenses on set, for stage, and in digital. She learns everyday and loves to travel the world, capturing it frame by frame and always creating something to turn it into something else.
